Join us in our recently renovated 1850's cottage in South Bristol Maine.

Kayakers are welcome

Enjoy ocean breezes from the front porch and the view of the bay with its moored boats and scattering of lobster buoys.  Eat an ample breakfast consisting of fresh fruit in season, homemade granola, muffins, breads, juice, yogurt, coffee or tea.  Walk to Christmas Cove and view the moored yachts or to the "Gut" and watch the swing bridge open to allow boats to pass.
You may also launch your kayak from our steps to the water's edge and explore the sights along the rocky shore including paddles up and down the Damariscotta River, float past the boat yards in East Boothbay, paddle through the Gut and under the bridge into Johns Bay or  paddle completely around Rutherford Island.

           We are located about an hour and a half drive northeast of Portland, twenty minutes from Damariscotta and Pemaquid Point.  Christmas Cove is a fifteen minute walk down the road.  Boothbay Harbor, Brunswick, Camden and Rockland  are all within a one hour's drive
while Bar Harbor is three hours away.
